Mary Fisher, Chief Executive OfficerMary Fisher joined SkinMedica as Chief Executive Officer, and a member of the Board of Directors, in April 2008. Ms. Fisher's previous experience includes more than 25 years in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Most recently, she was Chief Operating Officer of Acorda Therapeutics, a CNS company, with responsibility for corporate strategy and business development, financial planning, sales and marketing, and manufacturing. Previously, Ms. Fisher was VP, Strategic Healthcare and Commercial Operations for Cephalon, with responsibility for product planning and marketing, managed care sales, and manufacturing. Her earlier experience includes positions at Immunex and Boehringer Ingelheim. She is also a member of the Board of the Neuroscience Nursing Foundation. |

Rex Bright, PresidentMr. Bright served as President and Chief Executive Officer from January 2002 until April 2008. Mr. Bright's previous career included 18 years at Johnson & Johnson and six years as president of Allergan's dermatology business. During his tenure at J&J, Mr. Bright headed up Ortho-McNeil's dermatology division which included Retin-A and other prescription pharmaceutical products for the treatment of dermatological diseases. Subsequent to his tenure at Allergan he founded several start-up companies, and spent approximately seven years in the Boston area completing workout and turnaround assignments, as an interim CEO, for small private and public health care companies.Mr. Bright is a member of Vistage International, the North American Clinical Dermatology Society and the American Academy of Dermatology. He serves on the board of BIOCOM, the southern California biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry association. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. |
Christina Balesteri, Director, Human ResourcesChristina Balesteri serves as our Director, Human Resources. Christina joined SkinMedica in March of 2003. Prior to entering the biotechnology field, Christina's experience was in the wireless technology industry working locally for five years at DENSO Wireless Systems. In addition, Ms. Balesteri has held HR positions at Olsten Staffing Services and Household Credit Services. Ms. Balesteri holds Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University in San Diego. |

Theodore Ebel, Vice President, Corporate DevelopmentTheodore Ebel serves as our Vice President, Corporate Development. From 2001-2006, Mr. Ebel held positions in Corporate Development and Strategy at CancerVax Corporation, where he was most recently Executive Director, responsible for mergers and acquisitions, in-licensing and out-licensing activities. Prior to CancerVax, Mr. Ebel was Vice President, Strategic Ventures at MP3.com. In addition, Mr. Ebel has held management positions at Amgen, Inc in Marketing and Corporate Development as well as served as a Management Consultant at Arthur D. Little, Inc. Mr. Ebel received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies from Duke University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received his MBA from the Wharton School, at the University of Pennsylvania. |

Chris Foy, Vice President, Pharmaceutical SalesChris Foy has been our Vice President, Pharmaceutical Sales since February 2005. Prior to that, he was our Executive Director, Field Sales and Executive Director, National Accounts. The majority of his experience was accumulated at Glaxo Inc., where Mr. Foy spent 23 years in positions including, Allen & Hanburys Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Care Management Commercial Operations, and most recently as Regional Vice President, Managed Care. He also spent time with INO Therapeutics, Inc as their Western Regional Sales Manager. Mr. Foy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Northeastern Oklahoma State University. |

Thomas Insley, Senior Vice President & Chief Financial OfficerThomas Insley has served as our Chief Financial Officer since June 2003 and a Senior Vice President since January 2005. From June 2002 to May 2003, Mr. Insley served as Chief Financial Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors of Molecular Imaging Corporation. Until October 2001, Mr. Insley held various positions with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, a public accounting firm, for 29 years, where he most recently served five years as managing partner of the San Diego office. Mr. Insley was retired from November 2001 until he joined Molecular Imaging Corporation. Currently, Mr. Insley serves on the Board of Trustees and as Chair of the Audit Committee of The Scripps Research Institute. Mr. Insley also maintains an active license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in California. Mr. Insley received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. |

Michelle Finegan Saunders, Vice President, Pharmaceutical MarketingMichelle Finegan Saunders officially joined our team in September 2006 as Vice President, Pharmaceutical Marketing, after consulting with SkinMedica for several months. Her extensive pharmaceutical marketing experience includes directing her own pharmaceutical marketing consultancy business for the previous two years where she managed new product development as well as in-line product marketing for several companies including Genentech, Endo Pharmaceuticals, InterMune, Valeant and SkinMedica. Prior to that, Ms. Saunders served in several marketing management positions for Elan Pharmaceuticals for seven years including Sr. Director of Global Strategic Marketing. Ms. Saunders also garnered experience at Berlex Laboratories managing the marketing communications department, event and promotional experience from her tenure at Collagen BioMedical and a PR firm in San Francisco. Ms. Saunders received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix. |

Theodore Schwarz, Vice President, Aesthetic Sales & MarketingTheodore Schwarz has served as our Vice President, Aesthetic Sales and Marketing since January 2005. Mr. Schwarz served as Vice President of Sales for La Roche-Posay, a cosmeceutical division of L'Oréal, from January 2004 to January 2005. From January 2002 to January 2004, Mr. Schwarz was the Global Strategic Marketing and Business Development Manager at Galderma International, France. Before his position at Galderma International, France, Mr. Schwarz spent 11 years at Galderma Laboratories in managerial and sales positions. Mr. Schwarz received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing/Business from Michigan State University. |

Rob Sorensen, Vice President, OperationsRob Sorensen joined the SkinMedica team in June of 2006 as Vice President of Operations. From 2002 to 2006, Mr. Sorensen served as Vice President of Operations in La Jolla for Smith & Nephew Wound Management, a UK-based global medical device company, and in October of 2004, he became the site manager. From 1991 to 2002, Mr. Sorensen held several executive positions with Advanced Tissue Sciences, a tissue engineering company, until the company's assets were sold to Smith & Nephew. Prior to entering the biotechnology field, Rob's experience was in the semi-conductor industry working locally for Diacon and Signetics in Silicon Valley. Mr. Sorensen received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of the Pacific Eberhardt School of Business. |
